Whether it’s through the improvement of our internal practices or through our role as an advisor to our travelers, we do our utmost to offer our customers trips in line with our convictions : contributing to fair and sustainable development of Mexican territory, and minimizing negative environmental impacts.

Working with carefully selected local service providers based on criteria including environmental preservation and positive economic impact on communities, Terra Maya promotes “virtuous” travel centered on authentic experiences, discovery, and cultural exchange. Recognizing Mexico’s intertwined environmental and social challenges, the agency addresses climate change and tourism impacts through both client-facing commitments and internal management practices.

Since early 2024, Terra Maya has been pursuing Travel Life certification as recognition of its goal to become a major player in responsible tourism in Mexico, demonstrating its dedication to sustainable and ethical travel practices.
